Questions
PAT Testing: common questions
Is PAT testing a legal requirement?
The law (the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989) requires electrical equipment at work to be maintained so it is safe. PAT testing is a common way to do that. There is no single fixed testing interval; it depends on the equipment and where it is used.
Can you do PAT and EICR in the same visit?
Ask Nick when you call. Both are part of his inspection and testing services, so combining them is often possible.
